Have your baby at Casey Hospital with your Yarra Valley Midwife

H & C Casey Pic.png

Yarra Valley Midwives and Monash Health have commenced an exciting trial for families. Lisa & Robyn now have an access licence agreement with Casey Hospital in Berwick. You can now have your planned hospital birth with your private midwife (Robyn or Lisa) as your primary carer. You do not have to live within the Casey catchment area, so women of the Yarra Valley are able to access this fabulous model of care.

Yarra Valley Midwives provide complete care; Robyn & Lisa are on-call for your birth, we provide full pregnancy and postnatal care for 6 weeks after birth; including 3 home visits as well as your 6 week mother and baby check. Yarra Valley Midwives are able to provide you with referrals for blood tests, genetic screening and ultrasound scans. If you require obstetric review at any stage, this service is provided by our supporting obstetric team at Casey hospital/clinics.

This is a private service so private midwifery costs apply. There are also Medicare rebates if you are a Medicare card holder. If you have Private Health Insurance you may be able to claim under this program (please speak with your Health Insurance for further details).

Book now or contact Robyn & Lisa to learn more.
